Those bikes run pretty strong right out of the box.  Micron exhausts seem to work well on them and of course a powercommander

Yup.  Smokin bike, even stock.  But the usual bolt ons wouldn't hurt anything.  The stuff you mentioned should be enough.   :thumb:

Double check, but I can't remember if that year 636 also needs 'the jump mod'. European Kawi's get the same ECU, but the US one's have a wire that limits the top end hp. By doing the 'jump mod', you'd gain about 6-9 rwhp on the top of the rev range.

I've done this with a couple of 06's. Can't remember if you do this with an 05, but i think you do.

Do you have to do that with the 03's as well?

It's never going to feel like a litre bike but with bigger bore, head and cam job, it certainly will wake up. I did a big bore w/13.5 compression, headwork, cams, exhaust and air filter on a 1997 FZR 600 back in the day and it went from 73hp to 105hp. All that really did was make it similar to today's modern 600s but the FZR was pretty darn light and I had it geared steep. Todays 600s could see 130hp w/o too much problem....except for money.

Aside exhaust and pc, and also research for jump mod,

520 kit -1, +2

Light weight wheels,

It will never be near as strong as a liter bike, but, you can set it up to kill anything in the canyons/track days.
