I have the same problem with mine. It feels like the bike is going to get a bad tank slap. I went to a stiffer setting on my suspension in the front it seams little better. My 07 1000 felt more stable compering to my Busa.
If you can't show me the way, Then forgive me for being lost!

I solved the problem awhile back, just dial your rear rebound setting up 2 clicks harder but leave the compression alone, then put your front back to stock then set the front 1 click harder on the rebound, unless your using to much travel up front go abit stiffer with your preload. My friend road races and explained to me what was happening, the stiffer rear rebound setting keeps more downforce on the front tire there for getting rid of high speed weaving.

I heard that they did change the rake, but if you look at the 08 specs it doesnt mention it,anyone know what it is now compared to what it was?

Sounds like you are used the softer suspention settings, might want to take some preload out of it and see how it does. Also setting the rear sag will help alot, you might be getting some rocking horse going on causeing you to over correct.

My buddy has a 08 and says his is rock stable at high speeds. He is like 230 so if you weight less then u might have to much preload for your likeing.

when it was stock and stock height .. i didnt think it was as stable as my gen one .. now that mark (quijjijn) helped me set up the suspesion .. it is great.. stable..in the sweepers.. tight .. and highspeed curves.. cudos to quijjin .. thanks...  :thumb:

I think if you switch to a 190/55 in the rear, you will be impressed with the new handling it gives the Gen II.  keep the front stock, and switch to stickier tires, and wow this bike does well, its no Daytona 675 by any means, but does well.

Also go to Sportrider.com, look up their suggested suspension settings for the 2008 Hayabusa, its not far from the stock settings just a click or 2 stiffer in rebound and dampening, made a world of difference.
