Good for you man,I'm a bit envious as I wish I could get excited about motorcycle-stuff and working on my bikes.
I think I've lost the passion and love I've had for over 40yrs towards anything motorcycle related :?

0.0 is correct, although we are just lacking some further plumbing under the tank, the undertail kit, and all the tuning with the AMS-2000.  Gimme another three weeks or so and we should have a number or two to post up.  Motor is together and in the bike, new balanced, nitrided crank, Clamillos, Wossner Pistons, Web Cams, MTC multi stage clutch, air shifter and some other stuff.  Turbo is on with full pipe, Ultra 1000 plenum, carbon can.  Turbo is "cheating" but doin' it anyways.  Shooting for 375 on pump, but, we will see.  :bike:

Davey,

Did you use the OEM rear brake line or?I plan on going back around 4" and looks like there's enough slack for the stock one to reach(if not I'll hurry up and order one).

I'm gonna see if the OEM will reach first(looks like it will out to 4" or so).If not for keeping the rear brake for a possible emergency(like if for some reason the front refused to work at all)I'd pitch it,has about as much stopping power as dragging your feet. :lol:I think I've used mine about 4 times in 4 years just for shits and giggles, just to remind myself how poor the stopping power really is(brings back memories of the old rear drum brake on a '54 Panhead I had[and that was the ONLY brake/was running a spool front wheel],that fucker was worthless too ).

Jeff,
At 3" we used the stock brake line.   At 4 &1/2" (which is where we are going this time) I dunno if he changed the stock line over or not but I have my doubts it would go that far.  I do like the way the bike stops with the ABS though.  Good, positive feel and no sliding, so far, and you can actually use the rear brake.  EBC HH pads all around were a good decision as well.  Discs are stock.

I'm gonna give it a shot bro, usually brake lines seem longer than they need be and if 4"-4.5" is pushing the limit I'll go ahead and order one(in black). :thumb:

Rodney is supposed to call me up after he and John fire it off this week end for the first time and check for leaks, etc., and I will ask him then if he had to change the line over due to length issues.  All I can tell you for certain at this point, Jeff, is that it did work at 3" over when the bike was N/A. I would not want you to order too short a line. Below is the best pic I have of the stock line at 3" over............just under the can.

Thanks bro, looks good to me,around 3" is plenty for me(don't want the tire sticking out past the stock tail, always thought it looked like shit when people did that)and should keep the front end down on my little 190 hp.Got the 2"-6" and 150 link chain in case I ever get a wild hair and want to do a 6" over street tail.I'll hold off on a line, probably won't need one. :thumb:
