I want one my local dealer has the color i want i go there and my buddy is the mechanic and he said we got 1 left the owner wants it gone and he'll give me a good buddy discount they call and say 11,308. I told em 10,500 and ill take it, i thought they would go cheaper quess not ..

That's how it was when I got mine. They weren't willing to drop the price at all. It was the only Busa they had, and the only orange/black busa in the area. Oh well. But I come to find out, a few people we're dissapointed that I got there before they did. Busa is worth every penny/

This was discussed in another thread, but after tax, dealer fees, helmet, jacket, gloves, etc. It came to $15k otd.

Damn right. It's sick, but that's just the way the market was in my area. Even still, I look around at the dealerships and they still can't keep 08s in stock, it's damn near winter and we're gonna have snow soon.
Plus, i got super nice gear (helmet jacket gloves).

Helmet, jacket, gloves, tax, dealer fees, setup fees, fees for the fees. and that's not 4k, I think the sticker price was like 11,999 if i remember correctly. And it was in the spring, so there was no way anybody was moving on the price. I checked with a few dealerships. and some that just didn't have any busas.

Makes sense now. Forgot to mention, the dealership mentioned free labor on aftermarket parts. Oh, and the $15k includes the $1k 6 year warranty.

if you buy it out of state the dealer is not rquiered to charge you sales tax, but you will pay it when you go to register your bike

with all the fees they charge its rediculus. I whent in to buy an 08, and even after an hour and a half of hagling, it still was gonna cost me almost 14K. Plus the set up fees or stupid. $800 to set it up? U gotta be kidding me. I told the guy deliver the bike in a crate to my door, ill set it up. just gotta put the front wheel on, lower farings, and fill up all the fluids. He told me that would void the warrenty. So i told him the kid out back smoking pot is more qualified to put a bike together? I ended up buying a used 07, with 4500 miles on it. 8500 otd.

If they are charging setup fees tell them to piss off.  That's included in the price by Suzuki.  The $12,499 is ready to ride + tax.  Even then you should be able to be OTD for $11k without much hassle. 

P.S...you don't even have to put the front wheel on.  Mirrors, windscreen, battery, etc...and gas!  It's a joke and they want $800 for that... :lol:
