« on: October 07, 2008, 08:48:03 PM »
I was told it can't be done or it really hard to do. LOL

A guy came in the shop and said he wanted it done and had all teh stuff to do it so i am doing it, well i did it.
Here are a few pix, from abre to my old swingarm on it to 1k motor bolted in with exhaust on it.
I did get to fire it up and here it run today, few more things to do before it hits the street.
IT has  2 1k intake cams and a cometic thinner head gasket...

Will post more as the project goes on

Ok got bike back from dyno today, not real happy with numbers.
2 1000 intake cams degreed
thinner head gasket
pair mod
short stacks
secondary butterflies removed
bmc street filter
Full akro exhaust
 Also done on 92 oct.
164 hp, 83 ft lbs....

These's number seem a lil off, from other motors i have done.
WHAT DO YA'LL THIINK

I had to clearance the fram a little bit on the 2 very front motor mounts and made mounts to go to the head and drop down to the frame.

Ok jsut talked to the kid i did this bike for, he ran it this weekend. I am very happy with what he did. Since he went from a stock 600 with a bolt on, to this modded 1000.

6.37@116
with a 1.79 60ftr

Said he knows he's not doing something right in the 60, told him we would help the best we could..
