don't cut out the weights,  lifting weights burns fat   just do a more cardio intensive weight program like "circuit training"

just remember muscle weighs twice what fat does
id go with very little weigh lifting(based more towards indurance building) and a large amounts of cardio
swimming (laps at higher paces) does wonders
id look into doing a mile or 2 atleast once a week if not more

and trust me on this i only weighed 145 in high school (at 6'3" tall) and i ate 8,000-12,000 calories a day
and
T70 turbo w/ 60mm wastegate
Megasquirt EFI

and

exactly--- muscle mass is heavier than fat cells. Thats why I said cut the weights out but I should have said cut the weights out until you reach your target weight then do some sort of strenght training. Thats what they had me do at Gold's Gym. Cut fat first then build muscle.

don't cut weights,  just get yourself on a solid circuit training program  :thumb:

do NOT listen to those that tell you to stop lifting weights,  they are all talking out their asses.  lifting weight burns a TON of fat.

make sure you drink at least 1 gallon of water a day.

The water is right  :thumb: and lifting does burn calories but also builds muscle mass that is more dense than fat. If you feel you must lift because you see others doing it use small weights and do more reps. It does burn fat and willl keep you toned. Everyonehas a program that they swear by. Pick one that works for you. if you see the results yuo want then it's working for you.I'm just repeating words from my trainer thats all. Not saying it's the only way

i always keep lifting weights when i am trying to lose weight just change ur routine. lighter weight, higher reps and just add more cario and make sure u are on a lean diet. diet being as important or more important than the first to. without a great diet u still wont lose like u want.

fish,chicken,plenty of water.
eat at least 5-6 times a day small meals.

on the lifting stick to basic movement dont need anything fancy.
good luck.

you are a person with a very high natural metabolism,  you are literally a twig so how would you know what works for 200+ lb guys with slow metabolisms?

i used to weigh 235lbs at one time,  now i maintain 169-175 so i think i know what works.

as i said from my very first post,  do circuit weight training,  if you don't know what that is look it up.

Working out requires physical labor, hence why I don't do it.  If I want my race weight to go down, shit comes off the bike!     :thumb:

I weigh 230 I am 6'0" tall and have a real muscular build, But I am fat on a Busa by bike standards, look at Stve johnson prostock Snap-on bike, and the trader B**ch Angelle Savoie little miss poteit. So Ill ride the Busa for practice right now, but I am looking for a Top Fuel Bike which will have enough horsepower that my fatass will probably help it hook LOL. Also a stage 3 turbo will get you to that freakin horsepower zone where a little extra weight can help. So for all you beanpoles out ther riden fat on a Busa stay in the class where you can handle it and let the Big Dogs burn the track up with the Hight horsepower bikes.
