I have the basic same setup on my'08 as my '03, 63in,air shf, pipe, USB, lowered, etc. Stock motor on pump gas, the '08 made 187 and the '03 made 170? The trq curve is broad as hell, stays above 100ft. lbs from 5400-9600rpm. Im 25lbs heavier but the hp and trq should offset that? Even though my 60ft off the bike is avg of 2mph slower in the 1/8 120+ for the '03 and 118+ for the '08 this with whatever gearing 17-44 or 17-42 same mph shifting at 11500 ? Bike just don't feel like it wants to rip outa hole???

I would be incredibly surprised to see any performance gain from a TRE.

If you are just after defeating the 186 mph restriction I offer the high gain plug and play switchable mod

when mine gets here, I'll tell the track results. If u go to the website www.healtech-electronics.com , click on x-tre and go to dyno results and check out 2nd gear dyno?

I'm looking for someone for testing of my JSDPro on a 08 Busa. I have had one working on 600/750/1ks for several months now, but need to try one on a busa.

Just like this xtre, you are going to need to cut one wire and crimp another.

My E-TRE is on bike does feel more responsive and revs quicker and harder, going to track thursday, will post results. I had one fluke pass which pulled 121.3mph and me weighing 235 w/gear ? But bike stayed in the 118's. I now have a 008 Shinko slick and tre set in 4th gear map with same gearing(17-42).

X-TRE works, average .10 and 1mph in the 1/8th ! After lowering bike had tire rubbing issue's. But going to fix that and go up a tooth on the rear, 42-to 43. Bike is smoother and more responsive, used 4th gear mapping. I would recomend one.  :thumb:

same are any other TRE.. just a 5th gear resistor.

Strange, most busa guys do not care for them.

Only the '08 is retarded timing in first three gears? It runs in B mode up to 8500rpm ?

U can use 4th or 5th gear map just by turning button switch to on, kickstand up, slecting the in 4th or 5th gear then turn key switch to on and wait for GI to flash. Old tre's won't work !

Any smart try (that uses 4th or 5th gear) will provide the same performance. There is no big secret here.

I say this because my '03 was faster and quicker than my '08 with basic same setup? yes im 40lbs heavier, but also have 17+ more hp. i was exspected to run same time but have been off .2 tenths and 2mph. I have found out I have a big tire rubbing issue so I'll post again after Sunday when I go back to the track. around here the '08 has not been impressive at the track as the 14 but im gonna fix that im 235-237lbs with gear and will go some high 5.80's on pump gas stock motor.

you put on a different tire and changed the suspension setting yet you give the improvement in e/t and mph to the tre?

also did you have exactly the same weather conditions as your prior runs?  exact same 60'?

60ft only bettered by .04 but gained a .10th in ET. After finding the tire rubbed a hole in the end of tigertail only showed there was more? Same tire diameter but a slick to be more consistant? Air was worse, mid 50's but humdity was like in the 60% range? That was at night, going Sunday were advertised low 46 and hi of 71, so should have good air to see what's what? If you are dragracing buy the tre, u won't be disapointed

No the 08 is not in B mode to 8500rpm. My buddy runs 9.20's and 30's in A mode and 9.97 in B mode for bracket racing. there is a huge difference between A and B mode everywhere in the powerband.

I think in the end you will find out the TRE is doing nothing for you at the strip.
