Bet it would not take them 3 months to send a new one, you should have called Bell engineering, they would get you one in about a week :thumb:

Oh yeah, they have plenty of new FMU's...I am sure if I gave them the $250 I would have a nice shiny unit next week...oh wait, its Stedmans...make that by Christmas. Who is Bell? What their website/phone number?

Thanks.

Its ........ bellengineering.net......ph # 830-438-2890..........you want the overhaul kit for the BEGI  6.1 regulator I think they were $30. and as far as getting stuff from Richard and Jay, never got anything from Richard but he has answered some questions on the phone which were helpful, Jay sent me a BOV which I got in 3 days, don't know what the problem was with your kit unless like Nem said it may not have ben in stock. they should have said if that was the case, what exactly is wrong with yours are the shims/diaphragm torn up or is it just dirty/piston sticky, if so it may need to be just cleaned up, good luck  :thumb:

I guess part of the reason could be that RCC does not sell rebuild kits for FMUs, so it could be an indefinite wait, someone asked in a thread a few months ago and recieved the same answer,

Bell Engineering fixed my FMU at no cost and turned it in three days door-to-door, I think the guy that owns the company is Corky, great guy and will send you anything you need.

Well unfortunately Jay nor his company have any affiliation with myself or RCC Turbos, so if you wish to take his word over mine feel free to do so, or better yet try to order a rebuild kit direct from us, you may be surprised to hear the words over the phone "sorry we do not sell rebuild kits"

Richard...trust me. I already regret not buying direct from you in the first place. Regardless, Stedman is reselling your products and telling their customers that you will do something when its obvious you don't. So now that Jay has wasted 3 months of my time is it safe to assume I can send it to you and have it rebuilt to spec?

Yeah, buy one new from RCC. Asking RCC to fix something you can't get Stedman to fix promptly is like taking your Kawasaki to a Suzuki dealer for a warrantee repair whne Kawasaki says it will take three months.

Its RCCs FMU....Stedman just sells them with their kits.

So if he doesn't take care of it to your satisfaction are you going to keep complaining up the supply chain until someone does?

Good luck with that

Unfortunately this might be my only option...unless Richard is willing to rebuild it for me.
