Scott Gutherie's land speed bikes, the alcohol bike ran 247.5mph


Thats about the bulk of them.  I am looking through the rest now to see if I missed any.  Also have a ton of car pics I will post up later.  The event was great, everyone had a blast and came back safe.  SSVINCE did go down at the traps at about 199mph but got up and walked away with some scrapes.....the bike was rashed up but very repairable.  Very glad he came out ok, VERY LUCKY....

See everyone in March 09.

Congrats to SGR, AP and everyone on a successful meet there and glad to hear the get off was a walk away situation.
I hear y'all safely pushed a phenomenal amount of runs through... very impressive   :thumb:

we lost 2 hours (car oil down/ fire)on Sat pm or we would have had the 1000 passes they were looking for.

Except for that everything ran very smoothly!

I got home way too late to even look at the pictures that I have.  I'll see what I have tonight hopefully.  I know I have one with me in it.  I need to prove that I was actually there with TFA.   :wink:

NICE PICS EVERYBODY...QUICK QUESTION ON PICS, I TAKE PICS OF DRAG RACING, GONNA DO A COUPLE OF THE LAND SPEED EVENTS NEXT YEAR, MOST OF THE PICS YOU GUYS ARE POSTING IS AT THE STARTING LINE IT LOOKS LIKE, DO THEY LET YOU GO DOWN AND SET UP SOME WHERE AT A SAFE DISTANCE AWAY AND TRY TO GET PICS AS YOU GUYS ARE COMING DOWN THE TRACK?
