Bike is cutting off!!!
« on: November 11, 2008, 08:00:11 PM »
I was riding last night thursday night and the temp drop to around 40 to 50 degree maybe lower. I live in the mountians. The bike started to cutting off and the FI light came on at around 2800 rpms, But if the bike stays around 3100 to 3200 it ran alittle better. Could the cold air be making more HP and cycle the injecters out or WHAT!!!  I haven't had any problem into it started to get colder.

What was the FI light code? Do you know how to check?

I didn't think about that. Does it have a code?

Yes it does and it will tell you exactly why the FI light is on. You need a Factory Service manual and a paper clip

I have the manual. I guess I'm going to have to read the manual instead of looking at the pictures
