Internally cut r good. But if u r ridin on the street alot maybe straps,, that way u could adjust to how low u want it whenever u want it lower alot or just alil..   :thumb:

Go too far and prepare to bust your oil pan after a good wheelie.

Most of the time when you got it that low all you do is spin the rear tire unless you really clutch it.  Either way, something to watch out for none the less.

:thumb: :thumb: this is the route I would take, start slow and test on the street and then adjust further after testing

well i currently have the tripple lowered already as far as it goes, and still want more i have an billet pan on order , also i have adj links in the back and my arm is 12 over and its still not low enought ive thought about getting a straight link to,  the plastics are already cut 2'' off the bottum so theres not real issues yet with going lower i just wanted to see what everone elses ideas where ,

If you are wanting it lower than that, the safest would be cutting the forks and sliding it through the triple tree.

Schnitz has lowering blocks LINK  Then you don't have to cut your forks.

I did those by myself and works good.

It was :D  Got a couple hours to think how the hell I'm going to do that. I didn't have anykind of instructions, only thing I had was that picture from schnitz website :thumb:

Here's another LINK

Cut the part no13 about 1/3 off and make same size piece as cut off from smaller diameter tube an put it in under cylinder no7. This mod not change spring pressure.

It's hard to explain it cause I made that mod about 2 years ago and I can't remember it anymore clearly. Someone could explain this better.
Maybe theres some instructions with schnitz set.

cutting forks is very easy and can be done easily oif you have access to a machine shop and don't do hack work
the internal spacers offered from schnitz are basically cutting the forks (you don't machine on the tubes)

on my busa i pulled the strap down, let the air out of the front tyre and measured the remaining fork travel and comapred that to the header to ground clearance.if i had some to spare i slid the forks up that amount.Never crushed a header that way coming off a wheelie.
