Wfie's Bike gets some work done (new pics on page 4)
« on: December 06, 2008, 12:41:06 PM »
2nd gear has been skipping for a year now, real bad lately, trans going to fast by gast, billet shift shafts, new shift forks, head is getting ported a little bit, just got the 50 shot tuned on there, intake cam on exhaust side, adjustable cam sprockets, that should be it LOL

THANK YOU SUZUKI!

Might as well make it a 1397 while it is apart....Out a new block and pistons under the tree for "her"
Any day on a motorcycle like this that ends just needing parts and labor is a good day.

If your bike is hard to shift into 6th gear under a load you may want to have him do that drum mod.  I had R&D do that mod which was like $40 and I never had a problem shifting into 6th again!  My $.02.

So Greg upgrades his wife's Double D's and when asked her reaction the response is
"She seemed neither surprised nor impressed.......women lol"

It reminds me of when my wife was asking about a GPS system for her car...I go out an buy her the top of the line, bells and whistles system with internet, handsfree, MP3, etc...and it still pisses me off that she wasn't excited...the only thing she realy uses is the navigation for long rides!!!!   :bah:
