Busa swingarm to GSXR1000?
« on: December 09, 2008, 12:41:21 AM »
Does anyone know how long is Busa's swingarm and will it fit to 01-02 GSXR1000 frame?

I was just thinking that if Busa have longer swingarm than 1000 and it fit to the frame, then I should make a change so I don't need to keep those swingarm extensions. My WB have to be max 59".

You have to upload pictures for example http://imageshack.us/ and then you can link pictures address here.

Can you measure between the center of the pivot axle to middle of the rear axle adjustment? And also measure the axle adjustment hole.

I think they have a different linkage mount on the bottom... I am pretty sure anyway was going to use a k9 arm on my thou but ended up going for a busa because the k9 linkage is different, could probably modify it fit pretty easily though... not 100% sure though

actually I think the k9 might be a direct replacement for the k7 and I heard it was 2 inches longer but youd have to check that out yourself
