Its first show! It was a stand in for my builder's show as a display...even in primer she drew quite a bit of attention.

I hadn't checked in for awhile now because work and my 2 year old has been keeping me busy.  Anyhow, the bike has made great strides this last two years, and was show ready enough to make its bebut at the New Orleans Superdome for the 2013 World of Wheels Custom Automotive Show.  We took home several awards, including a cash award that I plan to donate to the family of a recently shot officer in New Orleans, & the bike was greatly admired by the family of my friend (Thelonious Dukes) & all spectators.

Big thanks to everyone that helped out...it has been in the making for several years now...and now that it is on its road to the shows I am so excited.  It seems in this day and age your gaurdians are more at risk of tragedy than ever before...I am hoping the publicity and money won at some of the shows will help benefit the families of these individauls.  Thanks again!

So far I have only had time to start a Facebook page...but if you like us you will be able to keep up with the build, its appearances, some of the inner workings that occured along the way, and even see some of our sponsors...we appreciate all of them.  I am not sure if I mentioned it but the build has been  great adventure, she took home many prizes at its debut, and a cash prize that is going to be donated to a local Officer in need that was recently shot while investigating a robbery.
One of the build's friends has pushed for a nomination to go to the "Ultimate Hayabusa" competition, as soon as it opens online you will be able to see some of the magazine quality pics we have been saving.

Thats just amazing !
You can get a much better appreciation of the bike from the video  :tu:
In particular I like the way the tank is moulded into the bodywork and the dials ontop.
Over all the bike looks a very good composite design. Nothing is out of place or out of tune with anything else.
I have no more sh*ts to give.

I know it is a custom but I have to thank all the members here as you guys & gals posts & advise are what have helped me along the way.  Some of the features were a direct result of what I saw being done on some of the bikes here, and the desire to have something that would make me as proud of The Tribute as most of you are of your bikes.  Thelonious' bike was a race-bike first, with a few touches of custom...so I thank you guys for keeping the build in line with that theme.  Now for the exciting stuff!
I am pleased to anounce that The Tribute Build has been considered for entry into Corporate Suzuki USA's "The Ultimate Haybusa" Competition. The build has finaly gone international through the internet, and stands a good chance of being one of the several bikes picked as finalist. Please take a moment to show our little build some love, and vote online at:
