kick stand removal?

is it easy to take off the kick stand?? is it just the nut u take off and the kick stand comes off?? what about the spring part??  n e one know step by step to take it off...im not too good with working on my bike

It's a simple job
Just unclip the retaining springs and undo the nut, then unscrew the bolt.

Would this be a side stand mod?
If so I used a grinding wheel and finished it off with a file as at the time I did not have a dremel. Be carefull not to take off to much though. :)
