It's a good virus to have...

I'm here to help, if anyone has any questions or anything I can answer, I'd be glad to.  If I don't know the answer, I'll direct you to someone who might.  I was trying to find out this info before I started and it was hard locating everything so I decided to log it here for others to see... :thumb:

I know I haven't given an update in a while so I figured it was time to let everyone know what's going on.

I went riding with a friend back in May and a truck turned into us.  We did everything we could but my friend was killed.  That event kind of slowed me down with my bike project.  It has been very hard for our friends and family so I needed to take a break for a bit.

Godspeed Brad!

I've given myself some time to think about what happened and will continue with my project.  At this time, I've decided to not ride on the street for a while and make it primarily a track bike (even though it will be street legal).  I was raised on motorcycles and have great family memories on motorcycles so I don't think I could ever give up something I love so much.

With that in mind, I probably won't be able to make it out to the Texas Mile in March so the next phase of mods will be slightly delayed...

The good news...

My wife and I are expecting our first child (October 10th) a little girl.  I don't want to leave momma home with a new born alone so I figured I could sit one out this year...

Life has been very busy and hectic for us due to recent events, work, and also trying to purchase a new home.  I'll get more up when I can but the next few months are going to be busy.....a very....FUN busy...  :D

Good luck to everyone at Loring, Maxton, and Texas this year, I'll be on the sidelines until 2010!  :thumb:

Take care,

Josh  :beechug: :USA:

Got'er done!!!!!!!!!! Going right now to put money down. I actually found bike at max pits in puru IN thanks to 954bob and riceya. Called there and they will release a black busa (still in crate mind you)to my dealer,so he can have the sale. My dealer is picking it up in the morning and not touching it till i can be there to open crate myself. I've never got to do that. This is exciting!!!! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Sorry I haven't given an update to this thread in a while.  We have finally moved and gotten settled in our new home.  Still working on the shop and getting things how I want them.

I haven't had much time for the bike lately but figured I would add some family pics since I'm having a blast...  :D

As far as the bike, I'd like to get an air-shifter installed, data logger, and start playing with the ECU hacking.  I'm trying my best to make Loring this year and see if I can go 210+ on stock motor.

Once that is completed I need to decide on the next step. I'm thinking a head/cams package to keep her reliable and fun.  It appears to be the road less traveled in the LSR BUSA community for 210mph+.  I still can't get a TURBO out of my head though...

Always looking for sponsors if anyone has any extra trick parts they need tested back-to-back...  8)  :thumb:
