RCC SUPER ULTRA STREET BIKE
« on: January 16, 2009, 04:40:50 PM »

It all sounds good thus far. :thumb:

I'm wondering....why are you getting the 1mm over exhaust valves?  Are you planning on running more than 500HP?

Also, did you mean "high volume gear" or "high pressure valve"?

The list looks pretty solid for what you're doing.  If you've got the $ you may want to get your crank micropolished and oil passages chamfered.  My opinion.

My motor is being built as we speak and the builder told me he would call me if anything came up. What would be the advantages to the stuff you are talking about?

Supposedly the micropolish decreases the sloshing and foaming in the crankcase at high RPM's.  Also, supposedly the chamfered oil passages allow more oil to get to the crank bearings.  I say "supposedly" because I'm going with what Falicon told me.

haha from what i heard if I had a falicon crank I would want some oil mods for sure. Yeah there is alot of "suppose to" in this industry. Hopefully I have a well thought out build and my components will be up to the task. I feel that if it is a quality build and a good tune then maybe it will last for many miles of fun. The system will be run on pump gas 99% of the time so everything is well within its power limits and not being taxed out even though I'm sure I will boost it rather frequently. I will keep you posted for sure

Like tom said its the GT40R twin scroll turbo and header setup, basically the "ULTRA" kit but with these extra things added. I believe its suppose to spool about 2K sooner than the GT35R and make about 50hp more at the same boost levels....soon to find out
