Picked up the new arm from Trick Tom.

The game plan now is to remove the top brace, and have the wheels, arm and forks powdercoated gloss black.

Nice swingarm.
Ive the same arm on my streetbike.
It works pretty well. Even at 220mph  :tu:

So long story short, we figured out the cams were set at 110, instead of 105... So had to undue everything I've done, and pull the motor.  :?

The good news is I can strip a bike of an ultra kit in about 45min now.  :D

Dropped by my self with a cherry picker. Was super easy.

On a diet!

Done.

No, Conner was offered that canadian mike arm, plus cash for your old one...the guy liked the top bracing on it. I was just gonna cut it off.

Holy crap I've been busy, but I've finally been able to make more progress on this bike. Between getting ready for my gf to move down from Illinois, and dad visiting for awhile, that's taken up a lot of time...not to mention I've had enough side work working on bikes to justify renting a shop space. It's nice having my garage back too. So here we go.

Moving mine and conners to the shop.

Made from scratch work bench. My first time eve building something out of wood.

Anyways enough of that. Ended up getting the 240 kit off in prep for the new shorter arm and wheels.

Had to degree the cams. Come to find out they were set at 110/108. That explanes why it made such low hp for the amount of boost it took to make 617hp. And a side note thanks to Nem for the phone support to walk me through the cam degree process.

Since the motor was done but no wheels where on it I decided to move the frame on to the motor.

Worked out well, and it was super was to get the motor back in the frame.

After that it was the usual bolting on the turbo.

Cleaned up some of the wires.

Remounted the fuel pump. No more vapor lock.

Thank you, that's were it's mounted on my bike too.

He was having severe vapor lock issues, even with the pump being insulated on the back of the motor. The old delaminating fuel lines didn't help either, but there shouldn't be any issues now.

Looks good, you should have it as god as new anytime now.

Those blue lines have always been a problem, thats why we do not use them, never have. I looked at the oil feed line, it will route a little nicer if you turn the outlet fitting on the block down at 6 oclock and run the feed line under the compressor cover and then up to the fitting, it will help keep it away from the header.

Thanks for the compliment rich!

The bike had black lines on it before, I dunno if you supplied them, or Tom supplied his own, but those lines were so hard you cold use them as a jack stand under a car. Not to mention I cut them length wise and the inside of them were bubbled in some spots pretty badly.

I tried to adjust the feed fitting when I had the stator cover off doing the cams. Any tighter to turn the fitting down, it felt close to stripping, and if you turned it to the left it was just loose enough you could turn it by hand, and possibly leak.

I appreciate the input tho.  :D

The fuel lines we use are from Parker, and will say it on the hose.

Well finally moved the gf in and got her settled, so I had time to do some more stuff. It's really close. Maybe another week or two. As always some pics.

Switches for the ams and second fan.

Ran the new fuel lines to the pump...but was one fitting short to finish.

Done, just need to make labels

Sitting on the ground.

Busy busy...

More soon

It's the foot pump one from harbor freight, with a diffrent wheel chock on it also bought from harbor freight. Awsome lift, and cheap as hell. I've had mine for about 2 years and has worked great. I'll be buying a second one here shortly.
