+6 street tail?????

i want to get a +6 over street tail where i can put a cowl will it bolt directly up to the stock sub frame?

Yes...

I used a full tail with a molded in Cowl...  With Cowl, you will have added support, but it is not a very smooth transition (NOT a Straight Line).

On mine, I only used the four bolts on the Sides... and I never had a problem with Cracking.   :wink:

+1......i did the same thing except i used a few spacers to level and straighten it a bit more and mine is a street tail........ :thumb:

Thanks Chris. I was on there site and the tail I found had the hump molded right in....one piece. All of my electronics under there and I need the removeable hump (like stock). In the picture it looks like yours is. I will have to check the Catalyst site again.

+6 is the only tail you can get with a removeable hump... Anything longer you have to go with the solo tailsection..

OK.....one more question......who is the best vendor to go to for this item? I googled "Catalyst" and it came up with a few suppliers. The one that seemed to have the most merchandise was RC's Performance but no +6 tail with the removable hump.

Is there an actual Catalyst website? When I typed it in, it came up with a bunch of websites but nothing that had anything to do with bikes. All programming stuff!
