Cycle-tek air shifters....
« on: January 27, 2009, 07:06:08 PM »
Kick ass..... Easiest bike mod I have installed yet...The pre-made harness is very easy to install and plug n play.  I have made about 10 passes so far and the shifter hasn't missed a shift yet. The kill box didn't even need adjusting. For anyone needing a quality air shifter, I HIGHLY recommend Cycle-Tek...

My make shift bracket

Trying to keep my trunk space and factory tool kit installed on the factory hooks. Lots of junk tucked in there.  PCIII, SPeedo-healer, shift light box, kill box, CO2 tank.

All buttoned up and done, plenty of room for my tire repair kit, small can of plexus/towel, cell phone, ball cap, sunglasses and a pack of rubbers  8)....

Alan, glad to see things going your way for once.  After reading like a million posts on your turbo and electrical problems, you deserve no more bullshit with your bikes.

Yeah no shit huh.....  Well the busa is finally coming around also.... Matter in fact, I am installing a Cycle-Tek air shifter on it right now also since I liked my 1000's shifter so much..... Stay tuned for pics...

Install complete on the busa....

Lowered 1.25" normal ride height.

Lowered 3"

It was tight, but its all in there.....I haven't road tested it yet but its working great on the stand.... :thumb:

Such a great product...

Can't you get nitrous over there?  Get Matt to set you up with a Nitrous bottle setup with the fittings, hoses etc to replace the Co2 bottle with.... Thats what I was going to do if I couldn't find anywhere to mount the Co2 bottle....(put the nitrous bottle in the arm)..... the jury is still out if my tire is going to hit the bottle or not when the bike is slammed but.....I haven't rode it slammed in 3 years so.....

Yup, Nitrous would be possible to get at the racetracs here.
But Ive installed an air bottle for the shifter system.
It works well, too.
And a little "work out" before racing is good for your helth and cheaper
