Doods, I want your input on mods
« on: February 20, 2009, 07:38:38 AM »
My 08 is in the shop for that wiring recall. While it is there, I am thinking of upgrading to SS brake lines and brake pads. Is it worth it?

The bike is an early 08 and I only have 500 miles on it. Divorce and all that chit. I know...leave me alone.

They are installing the GenMar risers. I normally wrench myself. My life isn't normal anymore. I don't even remember normal.

For peeps who have logged some serious miles on their 08, is the brake upgrade necessary?

I am supposed to pick her up this PM. Any input? When I get her back I am going to HAMMER her a$$.

Before the big D, Yosh exhaust and PWR Commander. tuned. Put in a new battery. They are doing the 500 mile service.

Before I pick her up, any info is appreciated. Tires look good. She ran like a raped ape before the D. I just need to make sure she will stop on a dime and give me change. My 04 Busa had the SS lines and HH pads.

Talk to me bros.

Nah,, I would go with the equivalent of what you had on your 04. Braided lines and EBC's.

Forget the ex-wife,, think of your new girlfriend with two wheels!  :D

Tuned with PC3 and Yosh system....  mmmmm, mmmmmm

Get Greg's $30 switch and find a place to do WFO - that will distract you for at least a small period of time.

I met/ saw the owner of MM at Mid Ohio AMA Races a few times.  I've also registered for their customer discounts online and purchased at least a few items from them.  (They partially sponser/ donate for a FZ1 Rally I have attended in Fontana too.) I like doing business with them.

NICE Dyno Numbers indeed.

Is that a custom Map????????
