Rear tail

Can some one help with info on how to take off the rear tail on a 08.

take off the seat, take off the hump/pass seat,
remove two bolts by the frame on each side, take the 4 plastic pins off holding the sides together by the ecm, remove the 2 frankenstien bolts by popping off black cap, remove the 2 black bolts(screwdriver) that are surrounded by rubber, underneath by the
rear pegs there are 2 plastic pins  and by the license plate 2 more, as you spread and pull dont forget to unhook the tail light wires!
oh yeah and the lock wire just lift it out of the holder.

Thanks for the info . On my way to my bike now. Have to take it off asap need to get it painted the same color orange as my bike. Thought about it when i brought ,then i saw it done ,now it is a must have.

Tell my where you got the orange paint that matches the 08 I need some  so I can paint mine orage.  Its black now take a look.

I have an extra tail, hump and front fender at the Painter RIGHT NOW getting painted Factory Orange. 

I am looking forward to my beauty rolling out this spring! 

With the cost of paint, the skills needed to do a great job and the scarcity of 08/09 parts (if going this route too) - I don't think there is much getting around that this is an expensive mod.
