IT looks like I will be there myself. This is my first texas event, but I will be running a Nikon D300 camera instead of a bike.

See you all there

Don

Way cool Don, come by and hang out with TFA, great bunch of fellas. Maybe also talk to Jay or Shannon and see if they can hook you up with a spot close to the traps to take a couple pics.

Tom, I think your going to have a lot of fun spectating. At times it can be even more fun than running!

By the way, the old 12 motor is in the Frame!!!!!

Well we have gotten alot of work done,, on the shop! It's close to being finished but we haven't touched the Heavy Bus at all so it's going to be a crunch for us too. But at least it will be an indoor crunch!

Not ready.

My 12 is completely torn down, still waiting on some parts.  I don't have as much practice with assembly/disassembly as most of the TFA guys, so the build is going very slowly.  I should have it together by the end of May.  That gives me all summer to get a good tune for the Oct Mile.

Don't know what time you are headed over to JohnnyCheese's, but watch out for traffic on I35 near downtown Austin, SXSW. Usually bad in the early afternoon/evening.

Hope to be doing heat cycles by Sat. morning.

Just looked at the weather forcast, Fri. 20% chance of rain, 3-5 mph SW wind, That be a tail wind. :thumb: Sat. and Sun. highs in the mid 70's, didnt say about the wind, but I dont think it is supposed to be much. Sounds like a  perfect set up for lots of horsepower and lots of fast runs. :D
