MSD Ignition Box?
« on: March 19, 2009, 06:49:26 PM »
How much of a performance gain would you get on a stock Busa by adding the SBS Box? I saw a guy at a local track and he claims that he's getting 6MPH more through the 1/4 and thats from retarding the timing on the top. Is this possible? :|

Anything is possible Gary, but I would bet he is spraying in addition to retarding his timing.

Just put 84mm pistons and port the head with valve springs. Then, you can always add a small dry shot later if you want more.

Any day on a motorcycle like this that ends just needing parts and labor is a good day.
