#2 Question about Sprocket cover

One of my metal dowels stuck in tha old cover and i could not get it out . Can i just use tha new one without one ? The one thats missing is tha one in tha 5' o'clock position .

I broke my chain before and cracked the caseing were the bolt screws to and still used it with out one of them you should be fine.
