The pint job was done by 3D custom paint in Willis MI  (734) 461-6360, they are really good friends of mine. Just ask for Danny or Donna or go to www. 3dcustompaint.com

The swing arm we done by Terry McIntosh, I'm doing a custom update on the 14 I will post pics as soon as I'm done.

I put a salvage '06 together over the winter and I love the bike! I took it down to North Myrtle for the Atlantic Beach Bike Fest and sat in tons of traffic. After hearing all the horror stories about the ZX-14 overheating and spewing anti-freeze all over the ground, I was pleasantly surprised that the bike never ran hot. The entire time it registered one block over the halfway mark on the temp gauge. A girl riding with us on an '07 Busa had the unpleasant experience of her bike flat-out cutting off because of the heat.

Not only that, my buddy (with a geared/piped '08 Busa) and I got into a little drag race and the ZX-14 held its own not letting him pull a single inch. I am pleasantly surprised by the bike and look forward to putting it on the dyno to tune it out even better.

FAST
Holy Crap, I have to sell this ZX-12R!!

I have a '00 Busa and a '06 14. The 14 was the better of he two but I haven't rode an '08 Busa long enough to feel the difference between the two longterm. I've been to several different tracks with the 14 and none of the guys with basic bolt-ons on the '08 Busa seem to be able to put down the same times as me. I know they make good power so I assume they are harder to launch. At 4.5" over high 1.3s and low 1.4 60ft are a norm for me. It runs 5.70s right off the trailer.

Thats great sixty footing. We run mostly roll on runs ,top end. Both these bikes will lay down some good numbers with those kind of sixty foots, I just don't have the practice riding it at the track(my fault). I did run my Busa 9:19@ 152mph with a shitty 1.72 sixty foot

I should be able to run the 14 in 1/4th at a new local track on the 21st of this month. I hope to go some high 8s but don't think the mph will be as high as yours. I usually run high 122 ~ low 124 mph in the 1/8th.  What was your 1/8th ET and MPH on the 9.19 run ?

The ZX14 spot didn't take off so well, but what should I expect on a Busa site.

What did you expect after all this is as you said a Busa site suzukihayabusa.org.  None of the 14 sites ever took off I think it has something to do with the bike :hys: :hys:
