Speedninja went 206 this morning on motor at the limiter.  Yes!   :thumb: :thumb:

Entropy blew his motor but I don't know details.  He's supposedly working on it, so hopefully it's something that he can fix.  I'll post any updates that I hear.

Waiting for ZXAland and Johnny Cheese to post a number.  Trick Tom is my news feed via text.   8)
Yeah, it made 500 hp at 32 psi.

Yes Chris Speedninja called me right after his run and was very happy he did go 206 MPH on the limiter about 150' before
the traps he is regearing and cleaning up his map.
I had the opportunity to do a  ACE PERFORMANCE Head and cam combo on his Busa and chris wiegh's 220 LB. without leathers.

Rustman, hows the wind?

Yahoo shows W 20-30 mph.  Please enlighten me as I cannot remember-  does that mean FROM the west or TOWARDS the west??  If it's from, that's a tailwind and we will see some awesome numbers today.   8)

I've been saying the F word all day myself.  I should have finished up the bike and had it ready for this time out.  I could have potentially made a useful improvement to my best.  I'll pull for our friends that did go instead.   :thumb:

Awesome!  I believe that this is the first time in the history of the Texas Mile that there has been anything other than an
E-SE head/cross wind.
Yeah, it made 500 hp at 32 psi.

I had this long ass post written last night telling everyone about coming home safe and bringing the bikes home in one piece as well, it wished all of the racers personal best's and and a new track bike speed record..then I went on to say it would be a great battle of the babes..a 250mph unfaired run from Bill..perhaps a 260+ run from either Scott or Wayne taking the top speed for Dave O.

Anyway I lost it ...so in short KICK AZZ racers ! ! !  :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Good luck to all the riders for tomorrow. Hope there's no cross-winds and if there's a good wind on your tail make sure you can stop!

If there is wind, do they still allow the speeds to count as records?
Any day on a motorcycle like this that ends just needing parts and labor is a good day.

Awesome!  He's been fighting for it for a while now.  This is going to be one to talk about for a while.  Like John said:  Let's all wish them a safe return.  some of them are going to get a lesson in braking this time out.

If there is wind, do they still allow the speeds to count as records?

The only thing that is recognized is the top track speed which is over 300mph from a jet car, the top speed bike was ridden by Scott Guthrie at 251+ mph..

There are no records to be had just personal best's  :thumb:
