Well I finally got off my arse and started working on this junker. Sanded down/repaired any issues i had on my stuff and primed everything, then I painted and cleared everything black.....then sanded it all down again and mocked it up on the bike so we can lay the stripes and stuff down. Havent decided just yet what I'm doing as far as that goes...guess I'll find out in the end, just need to lay stripes and reclear it all. I'm going with a candy orange for the stripes etc. not going to put much on it.....dont really want it super flashy just different than others....think I'm leaving all stickers Kanjis etc. off this time too. Here are some crappy phone pics of progress so far.

Some basically fininshed pics, ended up using a candy orange over silver.......real happy with the outcome, looks sick in sunlight

Big thanks to board member and good friend (TurboPete) for the help today finishing these up. I'll get some pics up when bike is all together.

Don't forget to get the Memphis Shades Orange (Gradient) to Clear Windscreen too.

Pete does great job and I've seen his stuff up close when he came to visit me last year for MotoGP.

Yes....me and Pete are good friends, lives a block from me

Ive been in the auto body buis. for 16 years, Pete was the brains on this job in the end as far as figuring out what lines we wanted etc.......he has a way better eye than I do and definitly is a hell of a painter
