Its the Harlan shift light  http://harlan-engineering.com/store/shiftlight/shiftlight.html

I mounted it with a strip of Velcro.

Not sure what I will price the software at - it depends on the features. The stand is a stemstand and sells for $50. New Palms go from $100 up and you can get a used Palm V on ebay for less than $100 and cables are about $20.

I'm initially working on a software only version that will allow manual tweaking of the fuel map while riding as well as providing map editing functionality.

I don't want to let on too much beyond that until I've tested some other ideas.

Wabbit:

What size of guage is this and how do you mount it?
How do you keep it from rubbing on the screen?

Thanks Eric

I assume you are talking about the round Autometer guage. Its about 2" by 2 1/2" deep. I simply bent up a piece of alumnum stock to mount it and attached it with Velcro. The screen actually pushes it down a bit which probably helps keep the Velcro attached. I've had it on for several month now and it has worked fine.

Not that I have noticed. I did cover it with black electrical tape which is what actually touches the screen. If it has marked the screen that mark is small and not noticable.
