1st 1/4 mile pass w/turbo

well we usually run 1/8 mile but had a chance @ pmra this sat and ran a 8.5- and best mph of the day was 165-... not bad,stg1 @ 280hp and 255lbs......diggin the turbo thanggggg :thumb:

no prob. im not some grudge racer or anything... 1/8 5.57(which my best has been a 5.54) @ 134 same mph in the 1/8... 60 ft avg 1.47.. best 1.41 but not since turbo.. 1.45 alot but that pass was 1.47 ... if that helps. gearing 17/42... set @ 65 inch.

well its bone stock mtr. no plate,with a blue spring. s2000's thats as far as im willing to try right now... so 9.50's ....is what it is...

i understand totally, my motor is bone stock to, so cant do much more than i am now to. 8.50,s is moving though, wish i was close to that, keep up the great work  :thumb:

Nice - that is 8.7lbs and probably a bit more than 9lbs with creep.  Tuned to what AFR and what ger combo?   (i am trying to get mine straight)...

no have dumps, and clutch is oem with welded mod and 6 ape heavy springs... thats it! i tried the stock 2 pc but was real hard to control launch...

BTW XXORCIST is NOT a small guy......I would guess 220-230lbs... so to be running 8.50s on a stg 1 kit, stock motor, no lock up, no boost controller etc is insane..... :bah:

So an aftermarket swing arm which is 6 inches longer? does that affect the road handling?

The tire is for drag only or road legal also?

What times could your bike post with stock tire and arm?

Yeah in theory it definetly should....yet most people at the strip with stg 1s(and 2s for that matter) and normal street bike setups struggle to go 8.90s....

He is going way faster then most of the average street turbo guys with a lot less stuff on the bike.  Just getting it done with skill.

On stage 1 kit, say 280bhp? how will boost controller help? enable better HP throughout the rev-range? also more HP at the top ebd or not?
