2010 Hayabusa are there any upgrades in the performance?

My guess is different colors and that's about it. Maybe ABS at some point but probably not yet...

I wouldn't be replacing the 08 for a very long time if that was the case. but I think there would be an easy way around it for a couple hundred dollars anyway. But I suspect it will come to that someday, maybe even a little surprised it hasn't already.

I always wondered what the point of 186 mph speed limiter.

Not much difference in 186 and 195 practically speaking. Are you doing to be less maimed or dead at 186 than 195.

I thought I was the only one that saw it that way!!! Another thing I dont get is why people do the mods to make thier Busa run any faster than 186...

I always thought that too (re: top speed restrictor), but what caused it from what I'm led to believe, was due to a public outcry bout the outrageous speeds these bikes were capable of straight off the showroom floor. Correct me if I'm wrong (which I'm sure somebody will), but suzuki was feeling the pressure and the Australian spec busa's speedo started reading 280 then dash which signified 300 but was not written on the speedo to appease the public.
Alot of the guys on here drag race and need the all the top speed they can get, and me personally I dont want my dinner to get cold.

To each his own. I for one am glad people push the envelope. I love reading and viewing there exploits here. I would love to break the 200mph mark someday myself.

Wow, if you are running over 186 in the 1/4 mile let me know! It must be a full on dragbike!

lol, I know some folks are looking to go over 200 or do high speed runs, but otherwise I have to agree that 186 top end is more than most of us will ever see...
The fastest I go is top of 4th at the dragstrip...

Who said anything about a 1/4-mile...? TOP SPEED runs also known as Land Speed Racing is where it's at...

But since you asked there are bikes trapping over 200mph in the 1/4-mile also...

Their is a big difference between 186 and 195 . I just got back from texas in march . I took my 08 busa . I went 186 and 195 . Not just a difference in speed but stopping to . My best speed was 199.166 . I brought my friend with me as a 2nd rider . His best speed was 205.532 . Go Fast .
