'08 Stator in Gen 1 ???

Will a '08 stator work in a gen 1 bike? 
The part number is diff but so is the '00 compared to the '05. 32101- 24F00, 24F10, 24F20
Anyone try or know if it will work?

Well I tried it today....
The 08-09 Busa stator will NOT work in the Gen 1 Busa.  The diameter is just a little bit bigger and will not slide into the flywheel/rotor.

Anyone need a good 08 stator?
