Suzuski - One last question about Pair Valve Removal.
« on: June 23, 2009, 05:14:38 PM »
Is there something that I am suppose to do with the connector that connects to the pair valve?  I am about to remove the pair valve since I am installing a new exhaust system.  I bought some caps.  Is there suppose to be gaskets under them?  I am guessing the caps go where the reed valves are.  Does anybody have instructions on how to remove the pair valve and cap them off?

Yeah, I tried that.  I didn't find any posts that explained step by step instructions.

Thanks.  Suzuski, are you talking about connecting a hose between the two covers were the reed valves are?

no you dont have to but on the 08 you have to plug the air box which feeds the valve fresh air so realy no need for the stuff if you dont plug the air box and stop the fresh air going to it it will back fire.
