any engineers out there or math phd's?
« on: July 06, 2009, 02:58:54 PM »
looking to see how much weight .8 gms exerts on a pressure plate at 7200 rpm and then at 11500. i need to know ballpark to make a clutch system work. 12.6 gms total right now on each of three arms. i have four .8gm washers on each arm and a bolt/nut. need to reduce by the washer for the setup to work. what would you need for the formula. arm length? distance out from center? thanks upfront. i would do it, but they tell me 4+4 isn't 9 like i thought.
