zrxdean, question about your fairing
« on: August 10, 2009, 05:50:23 PM »
How much difference did it make?

Did you change boost levels/anyhing else, or did you just put the fairing on after running naked, and go?

I'm always collecting data in my head, and your 245 MPH run intrigues me....

Any idea how much power you were making on the wheel?

Was that just a stock ZX10 fairing?

I'm sure I'll think of something else!!!! :D :D

Hey Troy. Other things changed than just the fairing. I took a little fuel out of it, and the faired run was Sunday, with a tailwind. Both geared 19/32, but naked it stays in 5th. I'm not sure about power. It's a stock-shape race fairing, without the bellypan, and with intake taped over. I guess the fairing was worth 12-15mph.
