FI Light problem after installing a quick-shifter
« on: November 07, 2009, 01:27:16 PM »
A friend of me has installed a quickshifter on his busa.
It is a Bazzaz BPD QS-4 plug and play quickshifter.

The problem is, that the FI flashes after shifting.

The bike is still running when the FI flashes but I think that cant be normal  :?

Did somebody of you have any experience with that kind of quickshifter ?

Thanks in advance, Mike

Yes, that would help  :hys:

A secound option would be to put a little sticker over the FI Light

I would contact Bazzaz, maybe it just needs a diode or something....?  :?

Using ecu as the kill box or a cycle-tek ignition kill box won't set the fi light :)

You are right Greg.
As you know Ive installed your/Matts electronics on both of my Hayabusas and never had a problem with that.  :D

The bazzaz quickshifter is on a friends bike and I cant believe that he has so much trouble with it.
It is a plug and play system and very easy to install, but who cares when it makes problems.
