nitrous bottles
« on: August 06, 2008, 02:17:39 PM »
Are there any bottles that are "better" then others.  I see there is a range in prices for the same size bottle between the different companies......nx, nos , zex, dynotune, etc  Are there any that should be avoided and why?  thanks

They're all the same- they all come from either Catalina or Luxfer and are the labeled by the company that sells them.

Look for around for a paint ball gun dealer in your area. They have ALL kinds of bottles and sizes that will hold NO2 just fine and the prices are usually a lot cheaper than if you buy a "nitrous" bottle. Seems once you say "nitrous" the price triples on whatever your buying. Just be sure to put a high flow vavle on top of it.

Wondering the same, their bottle prices are easier on the bank account.

Not looking for a gain, but for quality of the valve.

There is a guy her in Houston selling used primered up bottles for 15.00 without valves. Its a sweet deal even if you have to pay 70 bucks for a valve. Im trying to find cheap valves.
