I would install a spacer for sure. Install s2000 injectors and be good for 300hp. It will take u 2 weeks and u will be wanting more boost.

I was looknig into s2000 injectors today, I just don't know if they'll support much power on e85 (30% more fuel for the same boost level).  I was looking at the mps 62lb ones or the new injector dynamics 725cc ones (awesome flow pattern and saturated too).  Not sure if they drop in though

Id go for the 62lb injectors then. mps ive heard does pretty good, just need to reflash the stock ecu for the bigger injectors being used. makes tuning way easier.

We'll Im back from vacation. 2 weeks off of work and lovin it, 1 week in Key West and another week in Phoenix. Key west average was 78-82 degrees and phx about 60-65 degrees. Now Denver, below freezing and snowy! I had some extra time to work on the bike. Decided to go with gen1 valve springs and the genII Ti valves. Barry in a previous topic stated 300hp is fine for both the stock rods and stock Ti valves. The pressure difference between the stock gen1 at 43lbs and the genII is 26 so 17lbs extra seating pressure. Im only going to be running however many psi of boost to make that 300hp mark. I took a pic of what the different valve springs look like. For those who havent seen them, on the left is the gen1 spring with 2 springs, an outer and an inner. On the right the genII just 1 spring. This should give me just a little piece of mind for the making sure the valves dont float at higher boost levels and rpm.

ahh yes, i was looking at this page earlier but wasn't paying attention to whos thread it was.  Where do you get and how much are the gen1 springs?  Is that the only thing that needs to be replaced, ie, not the valves or retainers?  Your project does look good so far, updated pics?

Well i havent posted anything up for a while so I guess i better get to it. So far i have stripped the busa down for a full build! Everything is going be getting powdercoated gloss black if possible.

Im going to be powdercoating gloss black the frame, swingarm after i make a few cuts and modifications to it :D, internally lower the front forks 2" and powdercoat the remaining parts gloss black and '05 gsxr1000 rims are a few to start! I will post up pics when i get new ones taken and in my spare time when not working a crapload!

Mile High Denver! For out here in Denver this hopefully 500hp busa will be one of the higher powered bikes around. there is only a couple of people have that high of hp. So figured im going to get into racing more seriously this next summer. First of the year also starts a diet and hopefully lose 30lbs if not more by then too! My ultimate goal is to do 200mph here at Bandimere in morrison which i think is a lil higher like 5600ft in elevation.

Oh ok. I live in the wash, dc area where its ruled by chrome, nos and swingarms. I don't even know of any turbo bikes. I think there are several, not anywhere near 500 that I'm shooting for. I've never had more then 230hp so I'm kind of nervous. I already have next year goals and another build haha!!

And then you'll see the price and  :puke:

Looks like retail will be quite a bit over $2ki

There soon will be other options available. If you are not looking at any rules, the GT3586 billet wheel compressor will work well, the inlet is not Prostreet (Mirock) legal though
Any day on a motorcycle like this that ends just needing parts and labor is a good day.

There are a few big horsepower bikes in the DC area.  Not too many of them are streetable.

Can you even run the 1k rims one a Gen2? I remember hearing awhile back that it wasnt possible for some reason.

Well we will have to see. i am waiting on the spacers and im trying out a different brake bracket. i may have to swap over to a gsxr rear caliper and then just spacers like usual.
