Excellent, I'll have to re-check. I just printed them out when they first came out.
It's hard to find fat boy leathers for a good price, LOL.

I just wanted to introduce myself and invite all of you out to try out what we hope will develop into one of the great race sites on the west coast for asphalt mile shootout racing.
I know several of you bike racers have expressed concerns about our initial rule book release and the safety requirements, and on our forum you will find a couple of threads discussing this, hopefully to your satisfaction. We are pleased to welcome aboard Scott Horner as a key Technical Advisor for the bike side of our rules, and we will certainly try our best to get it right before this inaugural event.
Regarding leather riding gear, we are essentially clarifying our statement to read that the standard 2-piece leathers with the 350/360-degree zips will be allowed for Unlimited racers. Look for this and other clarifications to come out in the Rule Book as we continue to revise it. As we promoters are car racers ourselves, we are still coming up to speed in the bike world, but with the help of Scott and input from experienced racers, we will get it right.
Another concern many of you have expressed is the inability to come and race unless your vehicle can return to the paddock under its own power. Our main reason is that the return trip down the parallel taxiway back to the Paddock crosses two active runways (not the one we will be using -- there are three total runways at Mojave) and we initially felt it would be difficult to coordinate the push/pull vehicles at the finish end and get everyone back smoothly. Since enough of you have commented you might otherwise come, I have decided to revisit this issue with our Mojave hosts to see what/if/how this could be supported. Stay tuned.
While it is true that our first event will be only 1 day, we intend to make all future events 2-3 days long. The decision to run a 1-day event first is to build a relationship with the Mojave Air and Space Port folks, our hosts, and to learn what we can logistically do in a day. As we develop, expect us to add in record classes and bring our program more in line with current ECTA, SCTA, and other timing groups to give you records to shoot for. This first time, though, we just want to show both our hosts and our participants that we can execute a clean, safe, and fun event, and we hope to see a lot of you there.
Best Regards,
Mike Borders
