Okay, I'm in no-way gonna make this year.  Do they do these every year at this time, or will there be others later on in the year ?.  I'm dying to start earning my rankings......

Later in the year ????......well that may be very good for me....I'm eager to run an event.  I sent an email to a gal at the Mojave website trying to get a few things figured out but that reply may have to wait until they're done setting this event up.  I'm trying to figure out if the Basic license is meant as a trainer to the Sportsman rating.  Like145-149 consistently shows them I'm in control, accurate, and comfortable ???......

I talked to Mike yesterday and they plan on setting up rain or shine in hopes that we will have dry spots throughout the day to run. I keep checking different weather sites and get conflicting information................like you already stated we will see Saturday morning.

As of 6:00 AM it seems as if the rain's been pushed back 'til later in the day. :thumb:

...close,Karl put down a(i think)194 just before i left around 2:00(fastest bike of the meet)and several others ran 186-192.Big ass cross wind blowing across the track was giving some problems.Fastest car was "Big Red",an early Camaro running 196...blew away all those fancy ass Ford GT's. :lol:Scott was having some issues but kept plugging away. :thumb:

Took some pictures but haven't been able to post them lately,i'm sure somebody else will though.Nice venue and looked like a great track, makes me want to drag mine out there for the next meet.

A dead pass at the Mojave Mile, listen at the 40 second mark as the motor cuts out as I shift to second and then dies after I shift to third.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tca4hXFZ_Bk

A 175 mph pass, listen at the 44 second mark as I go to six and the electronics give me hell.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zij5kPN9GgA

A clean pass...........I didn't know what to do with myself the whole run I kept expecting it to die or break up...........my head was definately not there after chasing problems all day.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t9BRe3BdiAA

I realize now that I probably should of added a couple extra teeth to the rear sprocket............we live and we learn.

Here are some pictures my friend Chris took with my camera while we were there. Not alot of bikes, but it gives you an idea of what the area, the event, and the type of entrants that were there.
