« on: October 19, 2009, 08:02:48 PM »
I've had my Busa almost two years. My battery is kaput!  Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks.........

I still have the original battery in my 2003 (that one is stock displacement).  I charge it with an Optimate III about once a month in the winter.

if batteries were not prepped correctly from your local dealership this would cause premature failure. install acid pack let set for 30 min. put on a 1.5 amp trickle charger for 10hrs. then it is fully prepped. and also put a tender on bat. when bike will be sitting for periods of time not doing this will cause premature failure also.

Battery tender on mine when not riding, even if it's just overnight.
