Code C11 Cam Position Sensor---Help Please
« on: November 03, 2009, 11:17:10 AM »
My bike has all of a sudden started throwing this code. I can't figure out what is causing it. Here is a list of what all I have tried to fix it but it still throws it.
checked intake cam pin heigth. .306 witin specs.
swapped out 3 different cam position sensors
checked degree on cams- fine
changed ecu
changed throttle bodies
changed iat sensor
Is there anything else that could cause this code to come up? It says in the manual that if the sensor doesn't send signal to the ecu for 3 seconds it will trip it and throw the code. My bike doesn't wanna start and when it does it will shut itself down after a minute or so and throw this code. I've never seen anything like it but surely its happened to somebody else before. Any ideas? Thanks
