How long for 1 pound bottle.
« on: November 07, 2009, 05:44:44 PM »
I am new to nitrous and I put a 1 pound bottle on my busa. Today it was finally mild enough outside to use.  My question is, how many seconds of nitrous do I have.  I have a 25 shot installed right now.  I sprayed in 3rd through 6th and when I went for another go at it, it didn't feel like much of anything. Any insight is appreciated.

Should do 2-3  1/4 mile passes.
If this was the first time the bottle was filled it more than likely had some air inside all new bottles do.
You will need to fill it 2-3 time to get all the air out.
Another thing you can do is remove the siphon tube mount the bottle upside down , that way you will get all the liquid and no gasses.
If your going to spray a lot , to save yourself some money go to a welding supply and you can lease or buy the 100 lb bottles and fill your own ,the addapter , line
,  filter and a cheap scale  will run you about $60.00
O Lord please put one hand on my shoulder and the other across my mouth
