11,000mph of records for real
« on: November 19, 2009, 01:06:25 AM »
I produced 11,000mph of top speed records out of my 10x15 garage...not to bad i would say! Thats itself is probably a record....lol Landspeed Larry figured that one out, and probably over 700 motors :bah: or more in my lifetime..and still going..Im the only 200mph club holder east and west out of n.j. i think?..which is pretty cool!

What kinda gearing is needed for 11,000 mph? I'm assuming that's with fairings. lol

That's interesting how you put it that way.  Good for you.  You've been there and done that.  I'm a master builder now having built 1 motor, but I do think I'm the fastest computer programmer in the world (even if I am #20 on Tricky's list).
Yeah, it made 500 hp at 32 psi.

Just as impressive:

Steve also held the Track Record at Maxton for 4? or 5? years on a turbo bike in the 230's., in I think 2001?

That was long before anyone else was going that fast.
