08 temp ???

hello i have a 08 busa when running down the road its temp is 2 needle width under half way mark while riding it will drop about 4-5 needle widths lower then go back up stay for a little and go back up down up down it has never over heated just up and down if u let idle it goes to half way and fans come on goes down any suggestions on what is going on because my 06 gets to temp and just stays there any help would be great thanks

The communication from ecu to gauges is very crude. A couple of degrees change is easily detectable as needle movement as the gauge is not really linear and seems to have less filtering for fluctuations than gen1.

In other words, most likely nothing to worry - but you can always hook up the bike to a laptop and check the real engine clt temp with ecueditor engine data screen or using sds tool.
