Went to my local Suzuki dealer NO 2010 BUSA's?

Dont know if its true, but my local Suzuki dealer in MD said Suzuki annouced they will not be building any 2010 Busa's. The notice said they are working down the inventory levels. Anyone heard that to? Also said Honda basically gave those CBR1000"s away fro the same issue. That dealer was selling the 1000's for $1500 less than the CBR600's.

I received the same exact information from my local dealer also. They said that suzuki told them that it was due to the economy.

Actually the press release stated that Suzuki would not IMPORT any 2010 bikes to the USA. I dont think it said Suzuki was not building any 2010s. They are suffering like everyone else in this economy.

Actually you CAN buy 2010 model Suzukis, but not in the USA. The way the press release read, it sounds like Suzuki is making them and importing them to other countries. So if you were in Europe, Africa, Australia, Asia etc then you could buy 2010s GSXRs based on what I read.

Suzuki will not import 2010 bikes untill futher notice. There is a slight chance we will see 2010 by mid-summer. This will depend on the 2009 inventory levels at that point. The same will be applied world wide.

Man that sucks I just checked out the new 10 busas and they look alot different then the others as far as color schemes go even the graphic's

They are trying to get rid of all teh leftovers...at the shop i used to work at they still had a ton of new 07's in the crate!

AWE DARN.....somebody is taking the opportunity away from to over pay for a bike thats identical to 08-09 :hys: Can't say I'm real upset about this

they have the 2010s on the floor here in Canada...retail is 16200, last year they were 15600, so 600 more...but last year they would sell them for high 12s or low to mid 13s...not sure about this year, never asked.....
