WOYM SHUT DOWN?

The board at www.woym.org was launched because we didn't want to hold you back. We have a strict rule here about posting porn. The reason is we don't want this site blocked from people's workplace and porn will get you shut down faster than anything. So this board will always be very strict about that, post nudes and you will be banned.

At www.woym.org you can post anything and everything with little to no moderation. It is a self policing board, the only thing not allowed is personal attacks or contact info for obvious reasons. So there's a wide open board there at www.woym.org for you to post whatever is on your mind, but we're ready to shut it down because it is not being used.

Now a few post whores could turn that around and make the place interesting, but since it didn't take off we may shut it down. It all depends on the results of this poll, the activity over there and your replies on this thread.

So here is your chance to have a say and it will count. Should it stay or should it go? Should it change or stay the same? Is there anything could we do better that would make it worthwhile to have around?

I'm like the other guys, didn't know this board existed.  If I get on here it is to go find some info on gen II busa so 95% of my time is spent there.

You are right. There were 11 accounts that did not use the email activation, they have now all been activated. Since last night we have been activating accounts without the email verification over there.

Wow I was shocked when you put up such a forum as this in the first place all forms like this are a disgrace they always lead to racism, hate, and porn. Its amazing how this had become the greatest busa site in the world without such an evil forum but the new owners decided to add a hate forum.  Believe me the ignoreant people looking for porn and just plain old dumbness have plenty of places to find it on the web.  This site was designed for Suzuki Hayabusa lovers but I know that has changed to bad it changed for the worst with WOYM .  When you come to a busa site Busa should be whats on you mind.

I didn't know about the site but signed up as soon as I got the email.  I read the post about "show me your girl" and I did see some internet bickering in there.  I think there should still be some type of control or moderation so it doesn't get out of hand.  Some people just need to know right off the bat that certain things won't be tolerated.  I don't think WOYM reflects negatively on the original Busa.org site, sometimes you have to get out of the box!  There is more to life than our bikes, I think that was probably the original intent with WOYM.  It's just that with a wide-open, say-whatever-you-want site there are always people who will find what others think or say offensive.  If that's going to require too much management then the only alternative would be to shut the site down :(

Yes, it is completely separate. Only logged in users that have agreed to the user agreement which states no hate, racism etc. can see the site.

Logging in here does not log you in there, or vice versa.

The only way you will see that content is if you make an effort to do so by signing up for an account on that site.

I say leave it alone. If it is not a cost issue, why mess with it.

For those that don't like porn and F bombs, don't go to that site. Seems like a simple concept.
