Mel Reck, the popular announcer at San Gabe, Fontana, and Manager at Irwindale. I just found out that Mel passed away last Monday, quite unexpectedly. He had been in good health, but fell victim to a cerebral aneurysm. He was 83.
There will be a memorial service for Mel next Monday, January 18, at 3:00 p.m., at Arlington Mortuary, 9645 Magnolia Ave., Riverside, CA.
Mel’s family has asked that we pass this along to those who knew him.
This one hits pretty close to home
