cluster freezing

my 99 model busa cluster keeps on freezing.why?

Freezing how? While engine running? When you turn it off? Needles do what? LCD read out does what?

Can you be more specific?

First thing that comes to mind if checking the connection at the back of the cluster. Have you removed or had removed the gauge cluster?

Take the plug out and away from the back of the cluster, check the prongs for corrosion or bent prongs, insert again,, and gently bring the rubber boot back up to the gauge housing.

Start there I guess.

Maybe you live near me and it is only 15° outside and that is why it is freezing   :lol: :lol:

i live in south africa no  freezing here.when i start the busa the needles go beserk and the clocks freeze sometimes.when i disconnect the battery and connect it again all is well for a while.i checked all connections and even replaced the battery.

Sounds like the cluster has a short

i replaced the cluster today but the problem surfaced again!

Make sure that the individual wire connectors are tight on the pins.
