Not sure if they still do it on the stage1 kit anymore but I know I had a little restictor in the line going to the FMU I guess it makes it a little easier to tune when the Shit all starts coming in...From what I remember it came in my FMU box...I am sure this may be something to look into and sure others will chime in..

Not the one way check valve,This piece is a little plastic thing fits inside the vaccum line..

Well my parts should be here by the end of the week, so I can get the show back on the road! I'm also please to say that NEM is going to help me with my spacer, and timing gear install. I was going to have Brian at WIN racing do it, but that would mean $500 less towards the project, and I wouldn't be able to be hands on with it. I've build tons of turbo car motors, but this is my first time on a bike.

Other news, I ordered the proper oil feed fitting from Rich at RCC. I'm not rolling the dice on starving the turbo, or engine of oil do to a questionable oil feed. I've come to find that "instructions" for this stedman kit really don't have any relevance to what the kit actually has. The only thing that is the same is bolting up the airbox, and turbo. But I kinda knew that going into this, that I was going to have to do some research. Now one thing I want to confirm is my vaccum line routing. The wastegate, and fmu connect to the two barbed fittings on the bottom of the airbox. The boost gauge, and bov get connected to the throttle bodies along with the stock map sensor. The stock map sensor has to have a check valve blocking boost, so it only sees vaccum. The fmu check valve should block from vaccum, but allow it to see boost. Correct? Did I miss anything? :D

Can you post a pic. of the oil feed fitting you gt from Rich at RCC?? Thanks...

Just got an email from Schnitzs yesterday, looks like I wont have my engine parts for another week. I guess the head gasket, and base spacer are on back order. Meanwhile I put together a list of things I still need befor its "done".

Still need...
Get an O2 bung installed on the dump pipe
1/8 npt fuel pressure gauge
Boost gauge
AEM wideband
Konig oil pan
Canadian Mike 3-6 arm
Chain
brake line
Soup's links
I might hold off on the swing arm, and oil pan untill after I take it to the dyno, because at least Ill be able to ride it...carefully! Im out of boost money for this week. I spent $500, so next week ill be able to pick up the rest off the small stuff. Comming up next: Motor work at NEM's house!

Yeah I know, shit like this is never "done". I'm waiting for THM's sheet metal innercooler, as long as I can get it with secondaries, and I don't have to cut the frame out like he's done with the new prototype. I'm waiting for a price.

Going to California for the week, so next week it's gonna be hammer time to get the bike back together. I'd like to have it ready for the dyno 3 weeks from today, but we will see what happens.

Alright, just got back from California, and all my motor parts in. Talkin to NEM right now to figure out what time to get together for motor work. But heres what I picked up. Ordered my gauges the other day, so should be goin back together by next weekend I hope.

Got these from Jason (jgennaro) for a steal, and already set at 105/105, just gotta double check when I install them.

Does this look right? The spacer is thicker then I thought it would be.

Well got great news. Found out that I cracked my oilpan when I slid it out from under the bike. I was planning on getting a low profile pan but not till after the dyno. So waiting another 2 weeks. This shits getting old, and I really doubt I'm gonna make my deadline. Plus I think I have to order a spacer for the cam chain spacer too. Grrr. About now I'm wishing I had a credit card so I can just get it finished. But just gotta wait as the money comes in.

Yeah I know, but this is really the first part. Not even to the on going yet. I decided to fire up the oven, and powdercoat my airbox, charge pipes, and gauge mounts. Turned out perfect. My gauges will be in tomarrow, so I'll have somthin to play with for a day or two.
